Wade Kerspuy

Wade always does his best to lead by example, making sure that he can perform and excute rehabilitation exercises just as well as his athletes. He puts a lot of focus on rehabilitation and works on what is not commonly focused on in general strength training. He believes that physio is all about teamwork between his patient and himself. Being a professional athlete himself he understands the mindset and discipline required by his athletes to perform at the highest level.

My Story

Wade qualified from the University of the Western Cape and carried out his community service in Bisho, Eastern Cape. He then moved and started working in Johannesburg along renowned sports physiotherapists. He has completed post graduate qualifications in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT1)  and Masters in Physiotherapy, as well as other short courses. Wade has worked with sport teams  in National First Division (soccer) and in the Western Province rugby Union .

He has now finds himself working with track and field, combat sports and long distance runners and has been privileged enough to work with National, European and World Champions as well as world record holders. Wade has a special interest in sports injuries, neruomusculoskeletal conditions/injuries and post- operative knee rehabilitation.

When his not treating his patients he is a very active sportsman himself, competing in mixed martial arts, or he could be found outdoors on the golf course.
